Yet another resignation from the Town Council

YET another member of Frodsham Town Council has resigned – this time without attending a single meeting other than the one when she was co-opted.
Cllr Laura Watts, who was co-opted to fill a vacancy in Waterside ward has resigned because of family illness.
Two meetings of the council have taken place since she was co-opted but she was unable to attend either.
If 10 local electors request an election by April 29, an election will be called. Otherwise, the Town Council can co-opt a member to fill the vacancy.
Frodsham Town Council has now lost five members through resignations since former chairman Mark Warren quit in November.
The other were Jason Fraser, former chairman and deputy Mayor Mike Pusey, Clare Collins-Doyle and now Laura Watts.
Prior to that, former Town Clerk Jon Wild also resigned.
