VANDALS are believed to have started a fire in a cornfield at Warrington last night.
The blaze was in a field off Newhaven Road, Orford shortly after 8pm.
Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Anyone with information about how the fire was started or who was responsible is asked to call police on 101 on Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 101.
