FIRE crews were called to Radley Lane, Winwick, Warrington last night after a large amount of wood was found ablaze – on the first day of “Arson Awareness Month”.
They tackled the blaze and police were also called to the scene.
A fire service spokesman said anyone who saw people deliberately starting nuisance fires should call the police on 101 or report the incident anonymously on Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
