Five arrested in town centre for alcohol related offences

POLICE made five arrests in Warrington town centre late last night and during the early hours of today for alcohol related offences, including a 22-year-old woman for a domestic assault on her partner.

Other arrests included a 53-year-old woman for driving with excess alcohol, and three men, aged 17, 18 and 47 for being drunk and disorderly.

Meanwhile at Winwick police also arrested a 59-year-old woman for witness intimidation and resisting arrest.
