Zoo hit for six with pygmy goat baby boom

0

SPRING is most certainly in the air at Walton Hall & Garden’s children’s zoo following the birth of six African Pygmy goats – on Mother’s Day.

Fidget and Violet who are now mums for the second time both gave birth to twins while Brandy and Jenny who are both first time mums had single kids.

All the kids are either brown and white or black and white with three boys and three girls.

Proud dad is Mr Bumble who was used for breeding for the first time after arriving from York last autumn.

The baby goats are now all out and about enjoying the Spring weather.

Picture shows Zoo Ranger Peter Cookson – Dean and Walton Hall office staff left, Hannah Bromley and Bethany Johnson.
