Man arrested after alleged stabbing incident

A MAN has been arrested following an incident in Warrington last week when three people suffered injuries in a street disturbance.
The 40-year-old suspect has been detained on suspicion on a Section 18 assault on two men, aged 30 and 35.
A woman, aged 23, also suffered injuries in the incident in Wilderspool Causeway on Thursday night.
Police said today the two men were still in hospital also their injuries are not thought to be life threatening. It is believed they suffered stab wounds.
The woman has been discharged from hospital.
Police were called to the area by the North West Ambulance Service.
A spokesman said today that no-one else was being sought in connection with the incident but police were still keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or may have information about it.
