Visitors to the highly anticipated Open Day will be able to find out more about the exciting opportunities available at the College, speak to our tutors and tour the fantastic facilities.

The fun-filled event, which runs from 10am to 2pm on Saturday (March 12), will also give future students and their friends and family the opportunity to join in with a range of activities including delicious Afternoon Tea at Buckley’s restaurant, a “flight” to a distant land with Aviation students and goal kicking and passing drills with our Sports team.

For those looking for a relaxing way to take in the Winwick Road campus, beauty treatments, including manicures, pedicures, facials, eye treatments and waxing will be available at The Academy, although booking is essential. Appointments are available between 10.30am and 2pm by calling 01925 494336.

Hospitality and Catering students will be offering up cupcakes, scones and sandwiches for Afternoon Tea between 11am and 1pm and while booking in advance is recommended, walk-ins will be accepted on the day. A table of four costs just £15. Call 01925 494378 to book.

Health and Social Care will be giving free health checks while Childcare will be helping transform both young and old alike into exotic animals with their face painting table.

Performing Arts are sure to put on a fantastic show for visitors, while a realistic crime scene created by our Forensics and Public Services students is sure to catch a few eyes. Finger printing will also be available.

Activities will be taking place right across the College campus, with curriculum areas running a series of events including treasure hunts, quizzes and hands-on activities.

The College’s Apprenticeships team and Higher Education teams will also be on hand to offer advice and guidance.
