THE newly transformed Victoria Park Stadium will host its first Armed Forces Day on Saturday March 12.

It is being organised by Latchford Albion RLFC, who play at the venue.

In a double header, their second team will take on the Parachute Regiment at 1pm, followed by the first team facing the Army at 3.30pm.

With Warrington Wolves away in Catalans on the same day, it is hoped a bumper crowd will be in attendance and the club hopes to make the event an annual one.

A full day of activities is planned with entertainment for all the family and a licensed bar and refreshments will be available.
