POLICE are investigating an arson attack on a car parked in the road at Bewsey, Warrington, early this morning.
The blaze on Lilford Avenue was tackled by a cew from Warrington Fire Station, one wearing breathing apparatus. Two hose reel jets were used in the operation.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 or the confidential Crimestoppers hotline 0800 555 111.
Firefighters also tackled a fire involving a wheelie bin at Kinnock Park, Burtonwood.
The bin had been taken into a field and set alight, and again police are asking for information from anyone who knows anything about the incident by calling police on 101.
