BOROUGH Council leader Terry O’Neill is urging Warrington residents to get involved in the council’s budget consultation.
It’s just one of the messages in his latest blog, available on the council’s website.
Closing date for making comments on the budget is February 15 and anyone who wants a say can do so by visiting www.warrington.gov.uk/budget
In the meantime, Cllr O’Neill is using his blog to tackle a wide range of issues.
His blog covers the Bridge Street regeneration, Warrington Market news, transport and the latest on refugees from Syria.
Cllr O’Neill said: “It’s great to be able to reach people at the touch of a button and I hope residents and local businesses will also see it as an opportunity to have a voice and get their opinions heard by the council.”
The council leader has been taking advantage of social media to express his opinions and keep residents informed and as up-to-date as possible since 2012.
He has also used the blog to send his best wishes to the town’s sporting heroes, Warrington Town, currently top of the league and looking set for promotion and of course the new-look Warrington  Wolves as the new Super League season starts.
