Bedroom fire in first floor flat

TWO fire engines from Warrington were called to a fire in a first floor flat early today.
The blaze was in a bedroom at a property in Poplars Avenue.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and used two hose reel jets to extinguish the flames and then cleared smoke from the flat using a  ventilation unit.
There were no reports of injuries and the cause of the fire was not been revealed.
Only a few minutes after the fire was reported, another blaze broke out in Old Chester Road, Warrington.
Fire crews from Stockton Heath, Widnes and Runcorn went to the scene and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus use a  hose reel jet to deal with the fire, which was in an outbuilding.
A ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the building. Cause of the fire was not revealed.
