A Sahara sunrise over Warrington PICTURES EDDIE WHITHAM

LOCAL photographer Eddie Whitham was on hand to capture a spectacular Sahara Sunrise over Warrington today.

The effect is believed to be caused by sand from the Sahara desert in the atmosphere, which is currently blowing over Britain causing the unseasonably warm weather, which is forecast to be as high as 17 degrees tomorrow, Saturday.

Eddie was on hand to capture the sunrise over Burtonwood this morning.

Last night he also captured the International Space Station passing over Warrington at around 5pm.
