POLICE at Warrington are seeking information from the public following a burglary in which a VW motor caravan was stolen.
The raid was at a house in Hob Hey Lane, Culcheth and police are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area to call them on 101, quoting incident 876 of December 16.
The vehicle was fitted with tracking equipment and was recovered a short time after it was stolen.
Police have issued a warning to residents to make sure car keys are kept away from windows or doors where they can be seen from outside to prevent thieves from “fishing” them through. Letterboxes.
But people should also make sure they know where keys are, in case of fire.
