VIDEO: A GIANT owl and pussycat took centre stage at Warrington’s annual Lantern Parade organised by Culture Warrington.

The event, which followed lantern making workshops in local schools, set off from the town’s Parr Hall and into the town centre,  finishing at the Christmas village.

The event helps promote the annual Pantomime at the Parr Hall which this year features Dick Whittington and his cat, starting on January 2nd.

  1. Fantastic night. We were really impressed with all the effort put in with the beautiful owl and pussycat and all the children’s lanterns. Next year we will definitely return. P.s. lovely photos and videos too.
