Residents warned to be extra vigilant following five burglaries

POLICE are warning residents to be extra vigilant following a spate of five burglaries in the South Warrington area yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon and early evening.

The  break-ins were reported at Pepper Street, Appleton Thorn, The Drive and Foxley Close, Lymm, Meredith Avenue, Grappenhall and Stockport Road, Thelwall.

Warrington LPU Response PC Timothy O’Hanlon said: “To help prevent further incidents please ensure you have timers on lights, and report any suspicious persons or vehicles seen in your area by contacting uthe police on 101.”
