THREE times over the last two weeks, when walking through St Thomas’ Churchyard in Stockton Heath, I was appalled to see dog walkers blatantly standing and watching their dogs off leash running around urinating on and fouling graves.
It was different people each time. These are most likely people who would be outraged if someone else allowed dogs to use their lawns for this purpose but are quiet happy to show a complete lack of respect for those buried in the churchyard.
These are the resting places of people’s loved ones. How would they feel if it was the grave of someone they had lost?
