Lamp post toppled in two-car crash

A LAMP-POST toppled after being struck during a two-car collision at Warrington this morning.
The crash was in Sankey Way and the lamp post was left lying across one of the cars.
Two fire engines from Warrington went to the scene and made the area safe. Highways department staff were called to the scene to deal with the damaged lamp post.
There were no reports of injuries.
