Fire crews tackle kitchen blaze

FIRE crews from Warrington and Stockton Heath were called to a kitchen fire in Warrington.
The blaze involved a cooker at the house in Forshaw Street and crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish it. A ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the property.
There were no reports of injuries.
