A 17-year-old boy was arrested at Warrington following a stabbing incident outside a pub.
The incident occurred outside The Maltings pub in Bewsey Farm Close, Old Hall, shortly before 9.30pm last night.
Police went to the scene after receiving reports that a 26=-year-old man had suffered stab wounds to his body.
The man was taken to Aintree Hospital in Liverpool with wounds at first thought to be serious but was later discharged after treatrment.
The 17-year-old was arrested after a search of the area and remains in custody.
Police have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to call them on 101, quoting incident number 858 of November 15.
