UPDATED: POLICE have confirmed that a body found at Bent Lane, Culcheth, Warrington, to be 48-year-old Shaun Kelly, who went missing following a collision between a car and bus earlier this week.
They had been searching for MrKelly, from Leigh – who had disappeared after a road crash involving a car and a bus in Holcroft Lane, Culcheth on Wednesday.
A man was seen running away from the scene after the crash.
At 3.24pm yesterday (Friday) officers responded to reports of a sudden death on Bent Lane, Culcheth. A formal identification has confirmed the deceased as Mr Kelly.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a file is being prepared by the coroner.
