Police receive over 30 complaints on bonfire night

WARRINGTON police received over 30 calls relating to bonfires and fireworks incidents across the Warrington area between 4pm and midnight last night.

With more firework activity taking place tonight and Saturday Warrington LPU Response PC Timothy O’Hanlon sent out a warning to parents saying: “Do you know where your children are at night?

“Do you know what they are up to?”

Anyone suspecting children misbehaving with fireworks or bonfires can contact the police on 101.
