LYMM cyclist Matt Gibson, who picked up a clutch of medals in Greece earlier in the year as a member of the Great Britain cycling team, has struck gold again.
He was a member of the British team in Switzerland for the Elite Track Euro Championship and won gold in the Team Pursuit race.
Other members of the squad were Steve Burke, Owain Doull, Andy Tenant,
Bradley Wiggins, and Jon Dibben.
There were two heats before the final and Matt was in the second heat and received a gold medal.
He also took part in other events ans was eighth in the Men’s Scratch race and 17th in the Men’s Individual Pursuit.
The former Lymm High School pupil is on the British Cycling Team Academy Programme based at the Manchester Velodrome.
