Attempted robbery in park

A 16-year-old boy was grabbed around the neck by a man demanding his mobile phone and money.
The incident was in Marina Park, Great Sankey, Warrington at around 10pm on October 15.
Two men were involved in the attempted robbery which took place as the victim was socialising with friends in the park.
They demanded his mobile and money and one of them grabbed him around the neck.
But the youth managed to struggle free and ran away.
The first offender is described as being in his 20s, approximately 5ft 10 inches tall and of slim build. He was wearing a long sleeved green hooded top and bottoms. He was wearing multiple gold rings on one hand and spoke with a local accent.
The second offender was about 6ft tall and of slim build. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top and spoke with a local accent.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident on 951 of October 15 Alternatively, information can be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
