A DISTINCTIVE mountain bike has been stolen at Warrington – latest in a series of bicycle thefts in the town.
The black and gold coloured Kona Splice mountain bike was stolen from Jubilee Way, Orford.
Anyone with information about the bike is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference number 0715319654.
Within the last month, 30 pedal cycles have been stolen in Warrington and the thieves seem to be targeting areas such as Jubilee Way, Orford, Grasmere Avenue, Orford and Birchwood Shopping Centre.
Police are urging cycle owners to ensure their machines are secure at all times and to lock garages and outbuildings.
