Police appeal after hotel robbery

POLICE at Warrington have appeal for help from the public following a robbery at a local hotel which took place earlier this month.
The raid was at the Rhinewood Country House Hotel, Glazebrook Lane, Glazebrook at 5.25am on October 6.
Two men entered the hotel, broke into the office and broke into the safe. They then assaulted a 25-year-old member of staff by hitting him in the face with a cash box from the safe as they left the scene.
The contents of the safe, the till from behind the bar and the victim’s Acer Tablet and laptop bag were stolen.
Both men were about 5ft 9 inches and in their late 20s. One was skinny with a long face with brown eyes. He had a shaven head and was wearing a grey jumper. He spoke with local Cadishead accent’
The second man was also thin, with a long nose, buck teeth and malnourished appearance. He was wearing a black beanie hat and possibly a black jacket. He also spoke with a Cadishead accent.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101. Alternatively, information can be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
