LIVEWIRE will officially unveil their first ever mascot next week whilst giving children and adults alike the chance to welcome the larger than life character to the town at various locations around Warrington during half term.livewiremascot-jet

Jet will be officially introduced to the LiveWire team on Tuesday, October 27 at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, where they’ll lead a fitness class for some of the town’s best loved mascots including Warrington’s Disability Partnerships’ Ollie the Owl, St. Rocco’s Rocco, Warrington Wolves’ Wolfie plus many more. They’ll also meet nine-year-old competition winner Libby, who was the brains behind the design and appearance.

After an exhilarating exercise session at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, Jet will move onto Warrington town centre at 1.00pm, where they’ll be greeting shoppers all afternoon.

Wednesday will be another action packed day as Jet plays a basketball game with Cheshire Phoenix’s BiG Lupus and meets children from the half term basketball camp. From 12pm–1pm, Jet will whizz over to Broomfields Leisure Centre for a quick meet and greet with the residents of south Warrington.

On Thursday, Jet will start the day at Woolston Neighbourhood Hub from 10.15am before heading back to the town centre at Warrington Library from 12.30pm-2pm. Jet will then have the pleasure of meeting Warrington’s Mayor, Cllr Geoff Settle in his parlour at the Town Hall at 2pm.

Friday will see the end of Jet’s busy week, when they’ll make an appearance at Orford Jubilee Library’s craft session at 2pm and LiveWire’s spooky Halloween Party at 5pm at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub.
