Tarmac lorry in blaze drama


FIRE crews at Warrington were called out last night to deal with a blaze involving a lorry laden with tarmac.
The fire was on Skyline Drive, an access road to the giant Omega development site at Great Sankey.
Firefighters used two hose reel jets to tackle the fire and no-one was reported hurt.
In another incident, fire crews from Stockton Heath were called to deal with a car fire on the M62 between junctions 10 and 11.
Two hose reel jets were used to extinguish the blaze involving a hatchback car. Again, there were no reports of injuries.
