Market ‘s classic transport show returns to town centre

PROUD owners of classic cars, motor bikes or any form of transport from bygone days are being invited to show them off for tree at Warrington Market’s classic transport show on Saturday, October 3.
The event, combined with the Time Travel Convention, will take place across the town centre between 10am – 4pm. It is free to take part however exhibitors must register in advance before being allocated a pitch.
Joining in with the fun on the day will be a DeLorean Time Machine as seen in the Back to the Future film trilogy. Also, Laurel and Hardy with their old classic car and the Radio Warrington live road show will on hand to play some old classic tunes.
The time travel convention will include doctor Who and his Tardis, a steam train pushing a Delorean up to 8.8mph and many specialist stalls selling retro memorabilia.
Cllr Mike Hannon, deputy leader of the borough council, said: “I am really pleased to see the welcome return of the timeless exhibition of recent history. I would encourage everyone to come along to Warrington Market for the classic transport show family event.
