ONE of Cheshire’s longest-serving school governors has retired – after 40 years service.
Sybil Moseley has stepped down as a governor at St Wilfrid’s CE Primary School, Grappenhall.
Mrs Moseley left with the thanks of the whole school for her years of commitment and support.
She has seen the school change considerably in the past 40 years, watching the buildings and pupil numbers increase beyond recognition since 1975.
A spokesperson for the school said: “We are delighted that although Mrs Moseley is no longer a governor, she is going to continue to come into school to work with our children on a regular basis.”
