Young Wolves in England Under 15 Test squad

MATTHEW Heritage, aged 15, was selected in a squad of just 20 players from across England for the Under 15s RL Test against Wales played at Taffs Wells, Cardiff on Saturday August 22.
The St Gregory’s RC High School pupils, who is just about to start his second year with Warrington Wolves U16 Academy spent three days in camp with the other members of the squad in Cardiff prior to the game training at the home of the Cardiff City Blues.
Matthew, who plays at community club level for Woolston Rovers, was delighted to be selected by England Youth’s ccach, Shane Eccles, in the “starting 13” for the game as a prop, playing at number 10.
Matthew has played Rugby League since the age of six and loves the game.

Two other Warrington Wolves youngsters were in the squad – Tyler Lancaster and Andrew Bulman.
