That Netball Thing -free sessions in Warrington!

ACTIVE Cheshire, the lead body for sport and physical activity in Cheshire and Warrington has created a free 30 week programme of netball for Warrington women who want to have a laugh and get active.

Sessions are starting in September aiming to get women aged 17-25 who haven’t hit on a method of being active that works for them yet.

That Netball Thing is a flexible, fun and friendly programme and has been created to get confidence and fitness back on track in a great atmosphere.

It’s all about women being active on their own terms regardless of shape, size or experience.
People don’t need to worry about knowing the rules, what to wear or if they’re fit enough.  The objective is to steadily improve fitness week-on-week in a non-competitive environment. The sessions are also flexible to keep them interesting and challenging, and If participants can’t attend each one, it’s not a
problem.

The programme leader, Andrea, will be organising everything, giving loads of support and designing fabulous engaging activities to do every week.
