A WOOLSTON junior rugby team is sporting a new strip thanks to sponsor Abracs.
Abracs, a leading supplier of abrasive consumables to builders’ merchants and engineering workshops across the UK, has provided branded green shirts for Woolston Rovers’ under-14 rugby team, based at Monks Sports Club.
Abracs managing director Rob Jeffery said: “We’re really happy to be able to help out and support this junior side which is doing great work and giving young people the chance to get active and away from their computers!”
The team won their first match wearing the new strip 26-14 away to Skirlaugh in the National Cup quarter finals.
“A great result for the team and a sign that Abracs could well bring them luck in the future!” added Rob.
