Police seek this man following sex attack

POLICE have released an e-fit of man they want to speak to in connection with an attempted sex attack at Warrington.
The incident is believed to have taken place at about 4.45am on Sunday June 28 in Knutsford Road, close to the Barry Street junction.
It was originally  reported in Warrington-Worldwide on July 5.
Now police have issued the e-fit image in the hope it will be recognised by someone locally
The victim, a 27-year-old local woman, was walking along Knutsford Road when she grabbed from behind by a man who pulled her to the ground and attempted to drag her into a secluded area.
But a local resident arrived on the scene and the offender fled.
The woman suffered cuts and grazes to her shoulder and ankle but did not require hospital treatment.
Police say the offender was about 5 ft 9 inches tall, of medium build, in his late twenties to early thirties, clean shaven with short black styled wavy gelled hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing blue jeans with a red tracksuit top with white stripes down arms and a white motif on chest.
DC Elaine Flynn from Warrington CID said: “We are currently following up a number of lines of enquiry and are keen to speak to anyone who is able to assist with our investigation.
“I would also like to remind all local residents in the area to be vigilant and exercise caution and stay with friends when out at night.”
