RFL Founders Walk in Warrington

A WALK to celebrate 120 years of rugby league will take in Warrington on Friday July 24th.

Warrington were one of the founder members of the Northern Union back in 1895, and the RFL Founders Walk will go from Wilderspool to Walton Gardens from 9.30am on the day.

The Mayor, Steven Broomhead and new Wolves CEO Roger Draper will be participating, alongside past players including Alex Murphy OBE.

The Warrington Wolves Foundation will be taking part in this leg of the walk, and there will be activities for youngsters on arrival.

The walk is looking to raise £120,000 for good causes in the game.
