AN open day at Cats Protection’s Warrington Adoption Centre will give local people a chance to meet the many cats and kittens currently looking for new homes.
The centre in Elizabeth Drive, Padgate, will be open on Saturday, July 25 from 11am to 3pm – and the day promises plenty of fun for all the family.
There will be numerous stalls and games to have a look at and get involved with and face painting for children.
Spokesperson Anna Saillet said: “The whole adoption centre will be open so that individuals can also meet the many loving and adorable cats, currently in the Warrington Adoption Centre’s care, who are looking for their new homes.”
They include cats and kittens, some of who are looking for extra special homes.

Anna added: “The Open Day is a great opportunity to enjoy some summertime fun while supporting the charity which finds new homes for the many unwanted and abandoned cats that come into its care”.
Admission is free for both children and adults but donations towards the work of the centre are welcome.
The Warrington Cats Protection Adoption Centre currently has 60 cats and kittens in its care awaiting a second chance in life.
