FA Cup giant killers Warrington Town will host promoted Salford City in one of their pre-season fixtures in the build up to the forthcoming season – when the number one goal is promotion!toby
Salford, who are backed by Manchester United’s class of 92, including Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Ryan Giggs, will visit the Winner Recruitment Stadium on Tuesday August 4.
Chairman Toby Macormac (pictured) said: “Everyone at the club is very excited by the 15/16 season. Last year was an historic season where we collected silverware on top of a fantastic FA Cup run. The expectancy now from everyone is that we must progress with a promotion this coming season and that will be the number one focus for us.
“We’ve made some shrewd additions to the club which have included some much needed firepower and also shored up the defence with experience and quality.
“Our manager Shaun Reid is looking forward to pre-season and getting the lads ready for action on August 15 and it is important we have a good start.”
League fixtures will be announced on July 17.

Meanwhile season ticket and admission prices are the following:

Adult season tickets are £125, Concessions £80 and Students £30.
Match day admissions will be £8 for adults, £5 for concessions and Under 16s £2 or FREE when accompanied by a paying adult.
