Man charged after serious robbery

A 27-year-old man has been remanded in  custody following a serious assault and robbery in Grasmere Avenue, Orford, Warrington on Saturday evening.
The victim, a 35-year-old man was seriously assaulted and robbed before the offender fled the scene. He was caught with the help of the police helicoptor and the dog section.
Paul Morris, of no fixed abode, appeared at Warrington Magistrates Court today (Monday) charged with robbery and was remanded in custody.
