MORE than 200 boats descended on the village of Lymm for the 50th annual rally of boats from the Federation of Bridgewater Cruising Clubs.
Lymm Cruising Club – which is celebrating its own 60th anniversary – hosted the event.
The three-day event was attended by the Mayor of Warrington, Cllr Geoff Settle and his wife, Jean and the manager of the Bridgewater Canal Company, Peter Parkinson, and his wife.
There were also representatives of various canal organisations, the Association – and of course, boats from cruising clubs all along the canal.
The Mayor presented trophies to the winners of “The Trimmest Craft and Crew” competition and other contests.
