Is there an election coming?

IS there an election in the offing?
That was the question being asked, tongue-in-cheek, by amused passersby in Crouchley Lane, Lymm where this tree attracted the attention of enthusiastic bill posters from the three main political parties.
We are not sure who arrived first, or whether they started at the top or the bottom.
But the light-hearted comment from Cllr Ian Marks was, obviously: “Lib Dems come out on top at Lymm.”
