Police appeal following attempted robbery

POLICE are appealing for information after an attempted robbery took place in Warrington.
The incident happened at approximately 9.20pm on March 18, when an offender attempted to steal a handbag from the victim who was stood on the corner of Morris Avenue and Barrymore Avenue.

The offender is described as between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall, medium to stocky build. Wearing dark clothing and a hooded top.
Police are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed anyone acting suspiciously or vehicles loitering in the area at the time of the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 959 of the 18 March 2015.
