lord-lieutenantA fundraising awards scheme run in association with the Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire will reward Warrington youngsters who go the extra mile to help St. Rocco’s Hospice.
The Warrington Youth Fundraising Awards will target youth groups, clubs and individuals across the town, tasking them to raise as much money as they can over the next 12 months.
Those who show innovation and endeavour, as well as raising the most money, will be rewarded at an awards ceremony in early 2016.
The launch event, which takes place on March 30, will see young representatives from groups including schools, Rainbows, Brownies, Scouts and Cadets join the Lord Lieutenant David Briggs at St. Rocco’s to hear more about the awards and learn about the Hospice, and how their fundraising will help.
