Hunt for masked raiders who attacked man in own home

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in Warrington involving three masked men armed with a baton and knife.
The incident occurred at around 7.30pm on Saturday, January 31 on Hale Street. The victim, a 27-year-old man, was at home when three men wearing dark clothing and balaclavas entered through the rear door, armed with an extendable baton and knife.
While inside, they assaulted the victim and made demands for money. The victim?s partner was also present, and managed to leave the house to raise the alarm. The offenders then left empty handed.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or observed anything suspicious in the area around that time.
