Town face trip into unknown in Doodson Cup

WARRINGTON Town FC face a trip into the unknown when they travel to

Rushall Olympic next Tuesday (Jan 13) in the quarter-finals of the

Doodson Cup.
Town travel to the Walsall based midlands outfit following their 6-5 victory on penalties at Stafford Rangers last night, after the game was tied 2-2 after 90 minutes. It will be the first ever meeting between the two clubs.
But before then Town face an important league game against Harrogate Railway at the Winner Recruitment Stadium this coming Saturday, kick off 3pm.
Warrington will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten start to the New Year against one of the league’s form teams, having won 10 of their last 12 games, with just one defeat and a draw. They were named Team of the Month in December.
