Appeal following school minibus thefts

POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of two minibuses from Bridgewater High School on Broomfields Road in Appleton, Warrington.
The incident happened between 9.40pm and 10.10pm on Sunday, October 5. Three people entered the school playground area and cut through a padlocked gate before driving away with the minibuses towards London Road, Stockton Heath.
The vehicles were Ford Transit Minibuses, one white and one blue. Neither minibus had any markings on it.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time to please come forward.
The appeal follows on from a spate of vehicle thefts in South Warrington during recent weeks.
Anyone with any information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 140 of 6 October 2014.
