Homes evacuated as fire breaks out

NEIGHBOURING properties were evacuated when fire broke out in a mid-terraced house at Lymm.
Fire crews from Warrington and Stockton Heath were called to the house in Sandmoor Place, Lymm when the fire started in the kitchen.
Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus and tackled the blaze with a hose reel jet and a high pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the premises. The cooker, which was involved in the fire, was damped down.
An electrical fault was blamed for the incident.
After the blaze had been extinguished, residents were able to return to their homes.
