Touch Rugby challenge for firms

BUSINESSES in Warrington are being invite to compete with others from across Cheshire in a free Touch Rugby festival.
The event will take place on Friday April 4 from 6-9pm, at Chester Rugby Club on Hare Lane, Littleton, and is ideal for beginners and experienced players alike.
Touch Rugby is non-contact and is one of the most inclusive sports, available to men and women.
The festival is designed to help showcase the sport as well as providing team building opportunities for businesses.
Players will receive free food and drink and a goody bag, and the focus of the event is on fun rather than competition.
The festival is open to teams of 12, including at least two females, with one female on the pitch at all times.
Nic Corrigan, director of rugby at Chester Rugby Club, said: “As an o2 Touch Rugby centre, it is pivotal that we engage with local business and this event links naturally with our business community. The event itself will be fun, rewarding and – most of all – an excellent opportunity for people to enjoy our game.”
