Police appeal following indecent exposure at Burtonwood

POLICE are appealing for information following indecent exposure in Burtonwood, Warrington, when a man exposed himself to a woman in her 70s on the drive way of her home.
The incident happened at 1am on December 23, when the woman arrived at her home address in Bakewell Road, Burtonwood. As she pulled onto the driveway she spotted a man walking up and down driveways in the road.
The man then approached her as she sat in her car and exposed himself to her.
The victim alerted police on her phone and only then did the man run off.
The offender is described as white, of proportionate build, tall with dark hair. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top with the hood up and dark coloured bottoms.
DC Nick Talbot said: “The victim has been left shaken but thankfully unharmed. Through our enquiries we are aware a man has been seen loitering in the area during the night over the last month. I am keen to speak to anyone who has seen anyone acting suspiciously in this area or indeed anyone who has witnessed anything similar.”
