WARRINGTON Borough Council has announced the opening times of its telephone service and drop-in contact centres during the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
The council’s general phone service (01925 443322) will be staffed during normal hours 4pm on Christmas Eve, when the service will close for Christmas.
It will re-open from 9am to 4pm on Friday, December 27 and Monday December 30 and New Year’s Eve and will resume normal working hours at 8am on Thursday January 2.
The contact centre on Horsemarket Street will close at 4pm on Christmas Eve and will remain closed until 9am on Thursday January 2.
The contact centre at Time Square will close at 5pm on Friday December 20 and will remain closed until 9am on Monday January 6.
Residents will be able to access council services via the website www.warrington.gov.uk as normal at all times throughout the Christmas period.
