Who won a Christmas hamper?

SOMEONE, somewhere is walking round with winning tickets from the prize draw at Stockton Heath Festival’s annual Christmas market.
The lucky winner had put his telephone number of the tickets but when festival organisers came to call him with the good news, the number was “not recognised.”
So a Christmas hamper, with drinks and a cuddly Rudolph toy have gone unclaimed.
The winning tickets were Yellow 364 and Pink 109 – and festival officials would like to track down the winner. Claimants should call 01925 861961 or visit [email protected]
Forty stalls provided a wide variety of crafts and seasonal foods at the market and many traders completely sold out.
As well as serious shopping there was entertainment from the Golborne Brass Band, Wired for Sound Community Choir, the Bridgewater Singers and Sixpence Voice Studio.
Mince pies and mulled wine were served by festival volunteers and two fabulous hampers and children’s prizes were raffled to raise funds for the festival.
Deborah Cook, festival co-ordinating director said: “We were delighted with the success of this event and are pleased to report that we made a healthy profit which will go towards funding the main Festival in the summer.”
