Park play plan hit by vandals

AN outbreak of vandalism has forced a parish council to delay installation of £5,000 worth of new play equipment in a park.
Grappenhall and Thelwall Parish Council reluctantly decided to hold back on installing the equipment in Diamond Park, in Barley Road, Thelwall.
Chairman Cllr Dave Hockenhull said: “When a reasonable period of time has elapsed without any further incidents, the new slide play feature will be installed.
“Should anyone have any information about the perpetrators of this vandalism, please contact the parish council on 01925 264918.”
